This fun and engaging 2-day course is much more than your typical First Aid class!
Packed with essential information for hunters, snowmobilers, campers, hikers, outdoor enthusiasts, scouts and anyone else who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches skills to be used in outdoor emergencies when help from professional first responders may take longer than normal.
Along with classroom learning, participants spend plenty of time practicing their skills and working together in the elements to hone their abilities. This is very much a hands-on course!
This course is a perfect introduction to emergency care, and is great for those who might be interested in a career in EMS. It aligns with Wilderness Medicine Education Collaborative (WMEC) standards, and meets Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum.
